Eviden is looking for a Solution Manager with fluent French and Dutch to act as the technical leader in bid projects, translating customer requirements into a solution, based on our portfolio. As such, the Solution Manager performs several activities: 

COORDINATIVE: Aligning the team:

·  Manages the solution process within the financial and timing objectives and restraints of the overall bid process
·  Aims to align the proposed solution with the standard portfolio and ensures a good fit with customer requirements
·  Leads a team of Architects and other technical specialists within a bid

TECHNICAL: Craft the solution: 

·  Designs a consistent solution, its starting points, and conditions
·  Advises on risks intrinsic, including possible risk mitigations
·  Consults on transition strategy and coordinates with the bid appointed Transition Manager

COMMERCIAL: Closing the deal: 

·  Actively engages with the client, building a relationship based on trust and knowledge
·  Spots new business opportunities together with other members of the commercial team
·  Assists in negotiation process with the customer

 

FINANCIAL: Assure profitable business: 

·  Tailors the solution towards the ‘winning price’ within delivery capabilities and with the standard portfolio in mind
·  Determines the solution costs and identifies financial risks and proposes steps to mitigate these risks
·  Identifies financial opportunities and proposes steps to realize these opportunities

 

PORTFOLIO: Improve the offerring and content creation:

·  Share findings on usability of our portfolio with Portfolio Managers to improve our offerings
·  Write or provide input to white papers/ publications and other commercial material, assisting in marketing activities

 

  COMPETENCE: Obtain and share knowledge: 

·  Provide feedback on bid results and experiences towards other team members and management
·  Participate and/or provide input on WIN/LOSS review
·  Participate and/or organize internal competence management and team sessions

ADMINISTRATIVE: Report achievements: 

·  Document all relevant bid materials in Enterprise Bid Cabinet
·  Proactively provide status of activities and results towards management

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

·  Extensive work experience as a solution lead/manager in the field of IT managed services and leading complex bids
·  Strong skills in customer communication and ability to create a relationship of trust and mutual respect with our customers
·  Confidence to lead a critical discussion on technologies in a broad and deep perspective
·  Stress resistant, flexible, autonomous worker
·  Analytical problem solver
·  Creative and flexible in problem solving and result oriented personality
·  Strong presentations skills and stakeholder management
·  Being able to lead virtual teams of architects reporting into you during bid lifecycle
·  Fluent English, Dutch and French, both written and spoken
·  Experience with working with offshore delivery.
