ServiceNow developer responsibilities and skills

The responsibilities of the ServiceNow developer include the following:

•Support in the configuration of ServiceNow (menus, fields, minor work-flow changes, etc.).

•Developing ServiceNow work flows based on Business process requirements

•Optimizing workflow, integration and other aspects of the tools utility in a system management environment.

•Clearly understand/review the client's design standards vis-à-vis the organization's design standards and suggest improvements.

•Understand the Service Level Agreement for support environment.
Good hands-on capability - can independently develop good quality deliverable. Review/get it approved by team lead/client manager/functional people.

•Demonstrate an awareness of Best Practices in industry.

•Communicate effectively with team members and client. Present and discuss work results clearly.

Job Requirements:

•2+ years of experience working with ServiceNow (front or back-end)

•Expert knowhow in JavaScript

•Advanced knowhow in Database design

•Advanced knowhow in webservice technology

•Bachelor's degree in business, information technology or similar field requiredAbility to work in a global team

•English in business fluent

•ITIL v3 certification preferred

•Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
