We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator DB2 to join our DBA team from Timisoara.

 

Responsibilities: 

 
•    You will work on monitoring and administering the customer’s database instances for DB2.
•    Preparation of detailed documentation on configuration items related to customers.
•    You will work on incidents, changes and projects related to Database Architecture, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Automation.
•    Developing the juniors is also one of our focuses so it would be great if you like to do some mentoring.

 

Key accountabilities:

•    Deep understanding of scripting languages like PowerShell, BASH, and Korn Shell scripting.
•    Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, replication, connectivity, and security issues.
•    SQL Development – ability to write and solve SQL Code and Design (functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints);
•    MySQL, MariaDB or MongoDB knowledge would be a plus ;

•    DB2 deep knowledge.
•    Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
•    SQL Development – ability to write and solve SQL Code and design (functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints);
•    Experience in implement operational automation.
•    Deep understanding in a scripting language (like PowerShell, VBScript);
•    SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) knowledge would be a plus;
•    Love the flexibility, are ambitious and passionate about database;
