Job description
Position Title: SSC L&D Reporting Analyst Notice Period: 2 months! Principal Responsibilities: (Essential Function) • Design high priority reports in a timely manner • Review, analyze, define and document customer and business reporting requirements • Develop and communicate system documentation and testing scenarios • Design SSRS Report requirements • Experienced with ETL best practices and technologies including Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)/Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) • Knowledge of advanced relational database design concepts • Create ERDs, data dictionaries, process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts • Familiar with query tuning and with evaluating and configuring other DB performance tuning techniques through the use of Indexes, staged data, and other optimization methods • Business Intelligence experience (SSAS, Power BI, etc.) a plus • Utilize MS Visual Studio and TFS in an agile team oriented development environment • Administer all actions associated with learning and development within the designated learning platform using pre-defined procedure templates • Respond to tickets appropriately: Identify, evaluate and prioritize customer problems and complaints • Participate in departmental training activities including training programs in support of new technologies, procedures, and customer service enhancements • Work with departmental staff to promote, develop, and maintain strong customer service values • Escalate unresolved issues to support leads, designated (L&D Client) service group • Interact with internal customers via telephone, e-mail and chat, providing support and problems solving abilities Job requirements: • English business fluent (C1 advanced) + other language(s) as appropriate (French, German and/or Spanish) At least two (3) year’s experience using T-SQL (SPROCS, Functions, etc.) At least three (3) year’s experience supporting SSRS Reports At least three (3) year’s experience supporting Crystal Reports At least three (3) year’s experience developing Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) Experience building SSIS packages a plus Experience with Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio including BIDs, SSDT and GIT a plus Experience with Visio a plus Advanced communications skills PC Skills including MS Word and Excel Basic understanding of the principles, theories, and practices of group dynamics and/or team development Can work productively in a global, multi-cultural environment Manage time effectively to handle multiple critical level requests Adaptable to dynamic environment Ability to produce under stressful situations Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to adhere to deadlines and within identified time frames Behavioural Skills: Client Focus Proactively seeks customer feedback and takes appropriate action Considers the impact of decisions and actions on the customer Effectively manages customer expectations Commitment to deliver result Team Working Takes ownership and follows through on team decisions and actions Flexibility Adapts to changing circumstances and new information that impacts goals and plans Can play several different roles simultaneously according to the specific situation Takes a positive approach to dealing with change Creativity Adapts existing solutions for new problems or situations.
