The Recruiting Specialist -Cybersecurity/IT Audit is responsible for candidate generation primarily through direct sourcing and research. He or she will work with a large pool of external passive/active candidates as well as with internal candidates. The Recruiting Specialist works closely with Lead Recruiting Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and Workforce Management to refine, grow, and follow strategies that provide a qualified candidate pool. He or she consults on how to improve existing strategies, and provide feedback using analytics.
Key Responsibilities
· Develops candidate interest for available positions and to support business units
· Identifies target companies, user groups and professional associations which could inform search parameters and lead to qualified candidates; particular focus on networks within the cybersecurity and IT audit spaces
· Engages with Internal and External Applicants to develop a network of referrals
· Manages projects including; email marketing, competitor organizational chart mapping, mapping professional and alumni associations, social media, cold calling, and social activities
· Assessing both internal and external candidates, you will source, screen, and create story boards to submit candidates to the Recruiters as assigned
· Works with Recruitment leads to determine targeted advertising venues
· Consults on job description and timeline expectations and adheres to SLA metrics and KPI’s as required
· Performs queries and searches in Applicant Tracking database for qualified candidates, maintains records and is responsible for data integrity of the ATS.
· Creativity to develop and expand options for sourcing internal employees to be considered for open roles; strong commitment toward continual generation of internal sourcing
· Participation in and dedication toward efforts to continually improve and increase diverse candidate populations
· Searches the internet using search engines, user groups or Blogs and other creative techniques to find qualified candidates
· Performs other miscellaneous duties and administrative tasks as required by management which could include: interview scheduling, background and reference checking, special projects, internal initiatives and backing up other team members.
Required Skills
· 3-4 years of experience in full life-cycle recruitment (preferably in both corporate and agency settings)
· 3-4 years of experience with computers, including in-depth internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Applicant Tracking and database applications
· At least 1 year experience direct sourcing within the cybersecurity and IT audit arenas
· At least 3 years of experience in direct souring of IT candidates through social media channels
· Experience working in a large dynamic, constantly changing global workplace
· Experience working for a company that requires adherence to EEOC, OFFCP, federal/state and local employment laws and immigration policies and processes related to recruitment practices.
· Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment—willing to jump in to take ownership or support on any project on the team
· Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
· Excellent spoken and written communication with fluent English
· BA/BS degree preferred, AA/AS will be considered
