The BI practice sits within the Solutions area of the Systems Integration service line in Atos UK.
The BI practice represents a growing capability within Atos and currently comprises a talented team of analysts, developers, consultants and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle; from data management through to business intelligence and analytics. The practice is technology agnostic and has capability across a range of technologies, including products from SAP, Oracle, IBM and Microsoft as well as more specialist technology providers such as Qliktech, Informatica, Talend, Cloudera and Infoshare.
Atos work with a range of large organisations facing an ever increasing demand to realise greater value from their data and are seeking advice and solutions to meet that need. Atos are therefore seeking a talented Qlik architect to join our fast growing team. We are especially interested in consultants with a broad range of sector experience who have the appetite and capability to advise and architect innovative Qlik solutions for our clients across a wide range of environments.
 
We require an experienced Qlik BI Architect to support the delivery of Enterprise and BI Data Architectures with a focus on Qlik solutions.
The role will involve the following:
- Understanding of Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models and Data Architectures to support client enterprise architecture initiativesUnderstanding of Logical and Physical Data Models, Data Flows and Data Architectures to support BI, Data Warehouse and Data Migration application requirementsDefinition of Qlik BI Architectures to support client enterprise architecture initiativesDefinition of bid and project solution architecturesInvolvement in pre-sales and bid efforts to define and explain Qlik solution architecturesActing as design authority for Qlik based projects and owning delivery of the architecture/models that support these projectsTeam lead for small teams of BI delivery/analytics delivery to support the above workClient facing role collecting and working through requirements and delivering Qlik solutionsWorking in conjunction with data architects to define end to end solutions for clients

Desired profile

 
Essential
Expertise in QlikView and QlikSense. Preferably also in Qlik Expressor.
Expertise in running client workshops to extract and understand client BI requirements and turn these into BI specificationsBe able to demonstrate a thorough appreciation of the architecture, design and data related issues that affect the development of the different types of Data Warehouse and BI applications, particularly in relation to Qlik environments.
Good understanding of BI/Data Warehouse logical and physical models including normalised and dimensional models (both Kimball and Inmon) as requiredDemonstrate experience across a range of relational and database technology, including Oracle and SQL ServerMust be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving Pragmatic and detail orientated Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills Demonstrable team leadership attributesGood understanding of the bid process and good experience of writing proposals.
Demonstrable experience in developing Qlik applications for pre-sales work.
Desirable
Experience in defining and building enterprise wide conceptual, logical and physical modelsExperience in leading small teams for BI Delivery (reporting dashboarding or analytics)Understanding of other BI toolsets e.g. Microstrategy, Tableau, Microsoft BIExperience in managing partner relationships
