Atos Public Safety, an Atos North America company is looking for a NOC/ SOC Manager. Candidates must be located in the Boca Raton, FL metropolitan area.

This position is for a NOC/SOC Manager. The NOC/SOC provides enterprise-wide operational monitoring and reporting on infrastructure and performance metrics related to network, servers, capacity, outages, security, enterprise application subsystems, etc. The NOC/SOC Manager will be responsible for further design, enhancement, and management of its capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

· Lead the management and day-to-day operations of the NOC/SOC with a focus on proactive monitoring and service restoration.
· Identify, evaluate, recommend, and implement processes, procedures, and tools which will enhance existing monitoring capabilities and ensure a cycle of continuous improvement.
· Ensure adequate coverage for the NOC/SOC so that data center and network operations are properly monitored, and all incidents are reported and remediated in accordance with documented requirements.
· Develop and maintain policies, processes, and procedures to ensure reliable and effective NOC/SOC operations.
· Manage, coach and mentor NOC/SOC staff to ensure employees are working as efficiently as possible while fostering a team-oriented environment.
· Coordinate with appropriate engineering, security, and management teams to resolve and report on issues identified via NOC/SOC monitoring tools.
· Lead a team that actively monitors all enterprise servers, systems, routers, and switches, for indications of resource unavailability, faults, excessive resource utilization, and any other anomalous behavior.
· Lead efforts to constantly monitor, detect, and evaluate events which may impact monitored assets, to increase situational awareness of network operations or network security events that threaten the operations of the networks or systems.
· Monitor and review event indications, warnings, and system logs and notify the applicable stakeholders in accordance with service level agreements and SOPs.
· Manage the development and delivery of NOC/SOC deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 8-10 years’ experience as a managing and supporting Network and Security environments
· 2+ Years’ experience managing NOC/SOC activities and NOC and SOC Engineers
· Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience.
· CCNP, CCNA, CISM, CISSP or other related certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

· Public Safety experience (911, Fire, Police or EMS)
· Excellent team leader/project management skills and experience.
· Advanced knowledge in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees, vendors, and other organizations.
· Experience working in an enterprise-wide data center.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
· Ability to design and implement effective policies to achieve consistent team results.
· Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
· Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
· Experience supervising staff and coordinating shift schedules ensuring adequate coverage.
· Experience implementing monitoring tools and capabilities.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong problem solving, leadership, team building, and troubleshooting skills.
