Technical Skills:

·  Knowledge about various Operating systems Windows, Solaris, Linux etc. Troubleshooting skills on network connectivity.
·  Good understanding about DNS. SSH, DHCP, CPU utilization, Disk usage.
·  Networking concepts with basic knowledge about router, switch and Firewalls.
·  Experiencing on network & Server SNMP based monitoring tools like CA Spectrum, CA performance manager , SevOne, AppCritical/AppNeta etc.
·  Packet capture tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, Netflow
·  Experience on config management tools like HP-NA,  CiscoWorks, NetmRI.
·  Knowledge on ITIL practices like Incident/Problem/Change management.
·  Should be a quick learner to use the various tools that are currently in production.
·  Execute day to day routines to keep the systems up and running.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

·  Administers, deploys and tests software systems or applications used for Network and server monitoring
·  Work with various cross functional team to design, implement and execute a solution.
·  Review the features of the products and try to coordinate with third party vendors to enhance the product value.
·  Execute day to day routines to keep the systems up and running.
·  All other duties as assigned
