Mainframe Z/OS DBA

 

Job Description:

1.Writing, modifying and scheduling batch jobs, Joblog analysis, troubleshooting(prod and test)

2.Coordination of updates (releases) with the relevant team.

3.Management of datasets

4.Mainframe DB2 DBA Technical support for related applications.

5.Prod/Test complex problem solving: root cause analysis and fixes.

6.DB2 database monitoring, operation

7.Database creation, upgrade, migration

8.Database performance monitoring and optimization.

9.Creation of DB2 objects

10.Provide on-call support for prod jobs failures.

11.Knowledge in Ecomm process(ETLs, QREPs)

12.Technical support for any failures/issues

13.Should be work in shifts

The US base salary range for this position is CAD 80,000-90,000. Please note that our salary ranges may vary within, above or below the range based on role, education, experience, level, market and location.
