Your job in a nutshell:

As a Mainframe Technical Expert Online you will have the responsibility to deliver 3rd level technical support of mainframe online transaction systems and software.

 

What will you be doing:

· 
Software lifecycle management: maintenance and replacement of software;

· 
Exploring new product features which can benefit the customer as well as Atos;

· 
Third line support in case of software errors;

· 
Assist customers in using the software products;

· 
Incident, change and problem handling;

· 
Configuration and customization;

· 
Setup of parameters;

· 
Setup of customer dependent parts (e.g. user administration, product calendar, authorization matrix);

· 
Documenting;

· 
Communication with customers and vendors;

· 
Participation/contribution to technical projects.

Requirements:

· 
In depth knowledge and understanding of z/OS and related product software z/OS;

· 
In depth knowledge and understanding of CICS, MQ and IDMS;

· 
Programming knowledge of REXX and JCL;

· 
Knowledge of Cobol and/or Assembler is an advantage;

· 
University degree in Computer Science or related subject;

· 
More than 3 years’ of verifiable experience with mainframe operations and monitoring;

· 
At least 5-8 years’ of verifiable experience as IBM mainframe specialist (zSeries);

· 
Excellent command of English; Dutch is a plus;

· 
Ability to work well as a team member; 

· 
Methodical and disciplined approach to work; 

· 
Excellent analytical skills and problem solving capabilities; 

· 
Stress resistant in case of Major Incident- and/or emergency situations; 

· 
Good planning and organisational skills; 

· 
Very good communication abilities; 

· 
Ability to deal with multi-task issues; 

· 
Initiative and good learning abilities.
