Job Description
Atos is seeking Engineers with various levels of experience. Whether you just started with your development or you are a seasoned Mainframe professional, let's connect! We are seeking motivated Mainframe Engineers to be an integral part of our passionate team.
General qualifications include Install, update, and administer Mainframe operating system software. Perform changes within Company regulations and security standards. Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades. Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team, and clients to continuously improve services. Participate in On-Call rotation schedule.
Mainframe Systems Engineer
· Installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis and administration for z/OS.
Mainframe Senior IMS Systems Engineer
· Install, update, administer and debug Mainframe IMS software and associated IMS products for z/OS.
Mainframe Storage Engineer
· Administer Mainframe Disk and Tape Storage subsystems. Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved storage systems, as well as product upgrades.
Mainframe CICS Engineer
· Install, update, and administer Mainframe CICS/Transaction Server software and tools. Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new/improved systems, as well as product upgrades.
Mainframe Communications Engineer
· Installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis and administration for Mainframe Communications software such as VTAM, TCP/IP, Session Managers, File Transfer Software, Communications Performance and Diagnostic tools.
Mainframe Database Engineer
· Installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis, and administration for Mainframe Database software such as DB2, IMS, IDMS, Supra, Adabas, Datacom/DB and associated Database tools.
General Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, OR technical certification in Computer Science or Systems Programming experience
· Years of Experience: Min. 3 years of experience.
· Ability to work remotely
· U.S. Citizen
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
· IBM Mainframe Practitioner Certification
