Linux security expert.

 

Role description:

- Design and development of security compliance application in the area of Unix/Linux Systems

- Work with a global Team to analyze requirements and specify security hardening settings

- Responsible for Development and test of security compliance scans

- 3rd level analysis

- Impact analysis of hardening settings

- Documentation of architecture and code

- Work in agile environment

 

 

 

Mandatory skills:

- Several years of experience in Redhat, Suse, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX and it's system administration

- Several years of experience in developing with perl projects and modules: expert level

- hands on experience in hardening Linux Systems and advanced knowledge about security settings

- Knowledge about industry standard hardening baselines. Know where to look for hardening best practices, like vendor security recommendation or NSA Security Configuration Guides or CIS

- good english

 

 

Advanced skillset – the more the more likely candidate fits for position

- Knowledge in openssh, sendmail, smtp, ntp, syslogging, sudo mechanism

- apache operation and configuration
