Lead Cloud System Administrator (Windows)

Job description

Scope of responsibilities
- Work as technical lead for a dedicated Server Management team using a cloud-based infrastructure.
- Introduce knowledge management in the team
- Lead troubleshooting of complex OS-related issues
- Support other team members in their work
- Lead onboarding of new customers
- Advise on training curricula on behalf of the team
- Perform regular scope of activities for Windows Administrator

Desired profile

- MCSA/MCSE certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in managing Windows Server 2003/2008/2008R2/2012 platform.
- Proven knowledge in the following:
- VMWare vSphere
- Hyper-V
o System Center 2012 products
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, GPO, TCP/IP.
- Experience in monitoring and analyzing capacity / performance data.
- Deployment and configuration of new OS platforms.
- Knowledge of antivirus solutions in enterprise-class environments.
- Knowledge of security policies, backup policies, etc.
- Experience in troubleshooting OS-related issues.
- Knowledge of RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.).
- Experience in patch management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- English proficiency at least on upper-intermediate level
