The Unify OpenScape Voice Systems - L2 Technical Support team in US provides Sophisticated Technical Support to our world-wide customers.

As a Level 2 Support engineer, you are required learn the product as well as its usage in the real world customer scenarios. This is NOT a call Centre job and requires very high levels of technical depth to solve the problems that may occur in UNIFY products, operating systems, networks, databases, applications, third party products as well as custom codes. In addition, you will:

Core Responsibilities

·  Deploy, configure network based on designs provided. Good knowledge and experience with Cisco IOS and Nexus platform. Preferred candidate with CCNP certifications.
·  Improves network performance by supervising performance; fixing network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
·  Secures network system by establishing and carrying out policies; defining and supervising access.
·  Accomplishes information systems and organization mission bycompleting related results as needed.
· 
Reporting network operational status by collecting, prioritizing information; leading projects.

· 
Good knowledge on troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark packet capture analysis, Netscout performance monitoring tool and netflow analyzer tools.

· 
Detailed knowledge on QOS configuration and troubleshooting.

· 
Good knowledge and experience working with F5, Citrix both local and global load balance configuration and troubleshooting.

· 
Flexible to work in any assigned shift and be available for any emergency calls.

· 
Skills Required:

· 
In depth Network Operating Systems / Administration knowledge & experience

· 
Especially for CISCO. Fixing networking and voice call path issues.

· 
Computer networks and Network Voice Systems, VPN, MPLS, TCP/IP, SIP, network protocols. Experience with Virtualized Networks including (VMWARE).

· 
Zenoss or other SNMP monitoring tool

· 
Syslog analysis

· 
Network access control and security.

· 
MacAfee EPO, DDOS, NG Firewalls

· 
Clear and effective communication skills (oral and written English)

· 
Excellent email and telephone etiquette

· 
Listening skills. Analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to work as a part of a distributed team, despite the diversity (cultural, geographic and other differences)

Readiness to work in morning / evening shifts. Weekend of rotation basis

Minimum Qualifications

BSC/ Networking

10+ years of successful Experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge

A specialist on the OpenScape Applications and other application and has successfully executed several standard methodologies

· 
Serves as the top tier point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge

· 
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and chips in to problem resolution of those issues.

·
