Junior Linux Administrator

Job description

The primary purpose of the Linux Administrator is to provide technical support on systems used as commodity service for multiple Atos customers. This support entails proactive management and troubleshooting in case of fault and ensuring that the service meets or exceeds the established Service Level Agreements and quality standards.

Possibility to learn different UNIX platforms like HPUX, AIX, Solaris.

 
Job Requirements

 

·  Basic knowledge of Linux ( Redhat or Debian , Suse)
·  Understanding of virtualization based on VMware technologies
·  Administration & troubleshooting of operating systems
·  Diagnosing, resolving and delivering root cause analysis for automatic alerts, issues and incidents
·  Manage and resolve incident, problem and change tickets
·  Understanding of Networking (TCP/IP)
·  Ability to analyze system logs, events and monitoring alerts
·  Basic knowledge of Linux shell scripting

Nice to have

 

·  Knowledge of support Unix systems like Solaris, AIX, HPUX
·  Basic LDAP knowledge
·  Knowledge about Nagios or monitoring application is a plus
·  Knowledge about Red Hat Satellite Server is a plus 
·  Ansible automation
·  Dockers technology
