IT Procurement - Senior Global SW Buyer (M/W)

Job description

Atos procurement department is a matrix organization based on country teams and a Global team of Global Category Manager and Global Lead Buyers. 
The Global team is spread across the world and focus on cross-country synergies and global partnerships with our key suppliers.
As part of Global Purchasing team you will cover a dedicated segment of Tier 1 and Tier 2 software vendors and will be responsible for:
- Procurement strategy and relationship with several strategic ISVs at global level
- Dedicated segment of 50M€ to 70M€ spend per year across more than 40 countries
- Functional leadership in a community of Software buyers across 18 countries for the dedicated segment
- Negotiation and production of large global contracts
You will report to the Global IT Category Manager Software, and be in charge of the implementation of the global purchasing strategy in your dedicated segment. To achieve this objective, you will work closely with our internal stakeholders mainly across Europe. 
The main missions will be: 
- To build an effective strategy and an action plan to achieve significant initial cost reductions and year-over-year TCO improvements 
- Communicate and implement the category strategy and the action plans to the stakeholders 
- Organize and lead strategic negotiations with key Software vendors 
- Support the negotiation of contractual agreements with ISVs for products to be integrated in Atos offerings
- Negotiate cost-effective licensing models aligned on business drivers
- Search for creative approaches to reduce the cost base
- Continually challenge operational requirements and demand
- Development of cross-countries synergies bundling the volumes
- Implement cash back and rebates agreements with global suppliers
- Support the pre-sale activities to give Atos a competitive advantage through getting the best possible terms and conditions from its suppliers
- Support country purchasing organizations for major projects and complex deals

Desired profile

Education: University, engineering or business school, ideally with specialization in Purchasing.
Competences
- Strategic procurement techniques and advanced negotiation skills
- Hands-on experience of negotiating complex contractual agreements in a multi-dimensional relationship
- Strong financial and business case modeling capability
- Extensive knowledge of software licensing models and mechanisms
- Experience in dealing with software vendors like Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, CA, IBM, HP

- Fluent in English: strong written and oral communication skills
- Basic German or French will be appreciated
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship skills
- Project-minded, with good analytical and numerical skills

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
