The position will consist of implementing physical blocks integrated into ASICs using advanced technologies (7nm and 5nm).

 

Missions:
- Work in collaboration with the ASIC logic design team for feasibility studies, and exploration of PPA (Performance, Power & Area) compromises for blocks constituting integrated circuits - Floor planning activity at block level (size and shape of blocks , location of input-output ports, location of memories)
- Management of the physical implementation flow on the blocks: topographic synthesis, placement of standard cells, construction of the clock network, routing of signals, congestion analysis, convergence timing, chip finishing, optimization of consumption, physical verifications ( DRC, LVS, antenna, electromigration power and signals), static analysis of sign-off timings, implementation of ECO, formal verification).

 

Profile :
Bac + 5, Engineering diploma or equivalent university cycle, with a specialization in microelectronics/integrated circuit design The following knowledge will be necessary to start carrying out these tasks: - FPGA or ASIC synthesis tools - TCL language (used by the implementation tools)
- Verilog and/or SystemVerilog language (used to write the RTL serving as an entry point for the back-end team)
- Perl and/or Python languages (to process large volumes of data efficiently)
- File revision management tool (Git…)
- Fluent English (written and oral, cooperation with English-speaking designers).

This position requires autonomy, rigor and teamwork, with ease of communication to evolve in a multifunctional and multi-site group. Position based in Clayes sous Bois (78) or Sophia-Antipolis (06).
