Mobility Required & Location:

UK Business Consulting supports clients UK wide and occasionally works with other GBUs to support international clients. Candidates need to be fully flexible to operate from client sites delivering work but recent experience would suggest that on average 2-3 days per week on site would be normal, the balance from any Atos site or from home.

What are we looking for?

General Information assurance, governance, risk and compliance activities including the utilisation of audit and security skills with an attitude to get deployed wherever we can win work. Be passionate about their chosen profession and dedicated to getting the job done and continually learning and sharing.

The range of work we can win is quite wide (risk assessment, information security, audit, architecture, etc) and hence we are looking for a wide range of skills and an attitude to learn rather than deep SME

What do we deliver and what is our purpose?

Delivery of information security consultancy and advice direct to clients on assignments at their sites. Reporting to one of the eight team leaders in IGRC, and working in either pan Atos teams or in small groups of IGRC consultants direct to clients. Deliverables includes risk assessments, design reviews, audits, security assessments, security strategies, organisation of penetration testing, review of changes for security impact on existing systems etc etc

Role Responsibilities:

As a GCM5 you will be support to SMEs running work packages or engagements, contributing to or owning the production of deliverables for the engagement manager on assignments to review. In some cases you could be that engagement manager responsible for the management of the team and internal reporting requirements.

Reskilling/Upskilling/Training Available:

All successful candidates will do one week of core consulting skills, training maybe offered covering gaps in their skills which might include ISO 27001 lead auditor, ISO22301, CISM, CISA, CISSP, Identity and Access Management, TOGAF, etc

All staff have a line manager and may have a friend or mentor if they request it.

In general, we will deploy all hired staff as quickly as possible onto client billable work where on the job training and experience will dominate their learning, this will be supported by formal qualifications agreed through Individual Learning Plans with line managers and made available as timings and budget allows.

Competencies Required?

Professional qualification in a discipline aligned to Information assurance. Such as GDPR, Information Management, Security and Assurance, Security Architecture and Risk and resilience.

Soft Skills?

Client facing consultative skills, ability to ask open questions, listen before speaking, write concisely and in terms of business benefits.

Transferable Skills?

Strong written and presentation skills, benefits focus, deadline driven

Experience?

Client facing delivery experience, presentation skills. Exposure to both private and public sectors across all industries.

Willingness and eligibility to attain UK Gov Security Clearance
