Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a recent university graduate. This role is responsible for coordinating, developing and implementing the communications strategy and content across the Human Resources organization to promote awareness of the company's employee value proposition, maximize employee engagement and ensure effective and consistent HR communications. The selected individual will provide communications counsel to the HR leadership team and serve as an active participant in issues management, interacting with multiple internal partners to drive relevant and engaging communications.

 This role:

·  Serves as communications advisor to the Human Resources Leadership Team (HRLT), spearheading the HR communication strategy ensuring that it is coordinated, clear and has maximum impact.  Will recommend and implement a planned consistent employee communication program across the year supported by initiatives to enhance the employee experience and drive business results.
·  Develops communication tools and materials of the highest standards, including executive messaging for the HRLT, utilizing the most appropriate medium to maximize impact and understanding.
·  Develops strategies and approaches to increase employee engagement and retention, including analyzing data to identify gaps and appropriate solutions to address.
·  Develops key messages and materials during employee change programs to ensure positive adoption of the required change.
·  Works with the HRLT and other relevant supporting teams (such as marketing and communications) to design and deploy an employer value proposition strategy.
·  Develops and manages methods to measure the effectiveness of HR communications.  This will include identifying and facilitating appropriate employee feedback mechanisms, such as focus group sessions, to garner insights and make recommendations on what additional actions are needed.
·  Develops and implements communications processes and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency in HR messaging.
·  Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements for Consideration:

• 1 year of functional / professional experience in communications; university project work in lieu of professional experience will be considered

• Bachelor’s degree: Marketing and/or Communications or Business degree preferred

• He or she must demonstrate ability to interact with all levels across an organization along with the ability to influence and counsel.

• This role requires a strong ability to develop and leverage multiple communications channels including but not limited to email, video scripting, blogs, presentations and intranet content.

• Understanding and experience with social media and creativity to leverage for internal communications and community building within the company’s employee population

• He or she must demonstrate an ability to creatively meet the needs of a complex human resources organization.

• This role requires a professional who is open to challenge, growth and driving change.

• This role requires strong, positive interpersonal skills and a commitment to internal customer service to accomplish goals.

• Experienced in all Microsoft Office platforms.
