We're actively seeking a seasoned Category Expert to become an integral part of our team!

 

 

What will you do:

· 
Work with all global and local team members to identify, integrate, and implement global and local actions.

· 
Ensure the integration of purchasing activities within the subarea with other functions and operations in GBU.

· 
Contribute to the Global purchasing network by participating in or leading purchasing teams and actions within the subarea.

· 
Contribute to the local procurement strategy to achieve total cost of ownership (TCO) savings, manage risks, and create value within GBU.

· 
Ensure relevant commercial information is communicated to third-party suppliers within the subarea, as determined by the Procurement Bid team.

· 
Deliver tangible savings to the region.

· 
Act as an ambassador for Procurement.

· 
Provide input to the subarea strategy by identifying business needs and requirements, and executing and implementing the plan.

· 
Collaborate with Global Purchasing, to maximize savings and value from global actions within GBU. 

· 
Support local bids and new business projects, and implement project-related purchases at the local level or as requested.

Requirements:

·  Proficiency in the English and German language.
·  A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or sales.
·  Experience with Hardware
·  Knowledge and proficiency in using MS Office.
·  Essential procurement skills, including stakeholder management, negotiation, and contract management.
· 
Strong motivation and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across diverse business areas.

· 
Proven experience in negotiation and delivering savings..

· 
Demonstrates leadership potential.

· 
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

· 
Able to address issues and queries, escalating when necessary.
