Job Description:
Implement cloud infrastructure and facilitate cloud migration from on prem. Integrate applications with Azure AD for cloud authentication and user management. Manage hybrid connectivity from on prem to Azure. Configure conditional access policies and MFA to provide secure access to several applications and resources. Manage and monitor Azure AD Connect synchronization of prem identities to Azure. Plan DR strategy including cost estimation, DR architecture design for different tiers and in cloud. Manage the enterprise backup system (Commvault) including software updates, backup restores, assign permissions, maintenance tasks and troubleshoot failed jobs. Automate administrative tasks and configuration management across enterprise including servers and workstations using PowerShell scripts and group policies. Manage role-based access for various applications both cloud and on prem and file shares. Monitor servers for resource utilization and services using Azure log analytics; troubleshoot and remediate the issues using PowerShell scripts. Manage and monitor Azure costs and billing for the resources in our subscriptions. Automate fulfilling service requests where applicable by integrating our ITSM tool with Azure automation runbooks. Fulfill incident and service request tickets related to the servers and Office365. Provide 2nd and 3rd level IT and infrastructure support within a large hospital environment. Support and troubleshoot numerous software and hardware solutions from HP, Cisco Systems, NetApp, Hyper-V, UCS VMware and Microsoft respectively. Install and configure Windows XP and later OS products for server and workstations as well as other Microsoft software such as System Center 2010-2012, and SQL 2008 and later, and Citrix. Manage and support enterprise NAS & SAN storage solutions as well as Symantec NetBackup and IBM TSM backup products. Train and support new personnel on server and network hardware and software solutions. Install, configure, and manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user and computer account management. Create and provide detailed written documentation on all systems and support processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, and five (5) years in any occupation with IT Server management experience. Five (5) years in any occupation with IT Server management experience must include: Three (3) years of administration experience in Windows Active Directory and group policy management; Experience with patient care/clinical delivery systems; Experience with cloud hosted solution(s); Experience managing/administering a large Hyper-V, VMware, or Citrix virtual environment; Experience in identity management and authentication protocols involving Active directory and Azure active directory; Experience architecting Azure infrastructure and solutions at scale; Scripting in PowerShell, BASH and Python; Experience with backup systems: Commvault; Experience in DR planning, cost estimation and orchestration; Cloud Networking and security; and Experience in analyzing data to identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot performance related issues.
ALTERNATE EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, and three (3) years in any occupation with IT Server management experience. Must have skills listed above.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Hyper-scaler Certification (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft).
ROVING/TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to company headquarters in Plano, TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
Salary: $114,338 - $115,338
