Data Services Portfolio Manager

 

What are we looking for?

Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the offering from initial inception, as is the case for AMCC, throughout its lifecycle from start-up, realize and growth in support of organizational strategy and objectives. They work closely together with Business Lines engineering, Sales, Pre-Sales, and CTO during the lifecycle development process, and are seen and respected as single point of contact for the service/product within scope. They are highly motivated, self-driven, and able to translate current and future customer requirements into innovative services/products.

 

The Product Manager is required to be a Senior portfolio owner able to define, update and maintain a cross cloud / cross environment offering. In close collaboration with central Data Office.

-    Knowledgable about Multi cloud management, service management, ICT services in general
-    Understand API economy, Data economy, and create offers and product options accordingly.
-    Leverage Data services offering for cross cloud / cross environment services such as Observability, Finops, Policy management, E2E automations.
-    Drive through the DRIVE process for execution of AMCC
-    Own & drive the creation of AMCC offering collaterals
o    Pricing structure and benchmarking
o    R2S, R2D collateral 
o    Drive the cost model creation
o    Partnership management
-    Build and Maintain a competitive analysis view with Analysts, Partners, customers
-    Contribute to the core team with business prioritization, pipeline understanding and key stakeholder inputs
-    Continuous collaborate with Data Office, product owner, CTO and development team.
-    External communication / marcomms / marketing / Business Value proposal for go-to market including with key partners.

 

Who are we?

Cross Portfolio and Analyst Relations within the Strategy and Transformation Office aims to : 
-    oversee the portfolio strategy of Atos 
-    drive and align strategy across the business line portfolios
-    own the governance and methodology of portfolio lifecycle management
-    own cross business line offerings such as Sustainability, Security, AMCC, … 
-    Drive offerings to meet clients current business needs 
-    Work across the organization to train sales facing roles in the overall portfolio 
-    Co-ordinate feedback across the regional portfolio execution
-    Work together with the Atos RBUs, CTO, Marketing, Business Line portfolio and delivery 
-    Work with leading Analysts to ensure we represent our offerings in the most positive manner

Role Responsibilities:
The Portfolio Manager is accountable for the whole life-cycle of a offerings:
•    The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the service/product throughout its lifecycle from planning to execution in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
•    The Portfolio Manager defines and implements the service/products business plan including key partnerships 
•    The Portfolio Manager owns and implements a clear, coordinated service/product strategy, value proposition and messages with support of marketing.
•    The Portfolio Manager works closely together with Business Line Engineering, Pre-Sales, and CTO during the lifecycle development process.
•    The Portfolio Manager owns the service/product development with CTO the budget and timeline) after approval of the Portfolio R&D boards and is accountable for Ready to Sell/to Deliver (R2S, R2D) of new developments.
•    The Portfolio Manager is seen and respected in the organization as single point of contact for the 
service/product within scope. This includes accountability for Sales/Pre-Sales trainings, marketing and communications.
•    The Portfolio Manager is highly motivated, self-driven, and able to engage with clients to translate requirements into innovative services/products.
•    The Portfolio Manager trains sales, solutions teams on new products and services as well as major refinements.
•    The Portfolio Manager supports sales to drive important customer meetings (globally and locally).
•    The Portfolio Manager manages partners with regards to “new business”, not technical.
•    The Portfolio Manager engages with analysts as needed
•    The Portfolio Manager ensures cooperation with all Business Lines regarding services developments.

 

Key Role Tasks on Research & Analysis:
•    Research and analyzes market conditions
•    Monitors market and identifies competitor information and consumer trends
•    Articulates market requirements and opportunities
•    Identifies opportunities for innovation, enhancements, and positive positioning in the market

 

Key Role Tasks on Portfolio Planning & Management:
•    Determines service/product specifications, defines long term strategy of the service/product and creates the related roadmap
•    Drives service/product development, maintenance and retirement for a set of services/products in a Portfolio Domain following the Service Offering Lifecycle Development (DRIVE) process
•    Develops and maintains agreed business and release plans for the service/product he is responsible for
•    Prepares portfolio collateral as defined in DRIVE
•    Develops and implements the go-to-market plan in cooperation with Marketing
•    Responsible for pricing structure, pricing and benchmarking
•    Cooperates with partners
•    Oversees service/product developments
•    Manages all relevant stakeholders and partners to secure commitment for the necessary resources reflecting portfolio roadmap and timelines
•    Works closely with and ensures effective communication with the key internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive disruptive portfolio innovation

 

Key Role Tasks on Sales & Customer Support
•    Manages offering-related support, feedback and inquiries from users
•    Evangelizes and communicates portfolio and product vision to Customers, Atos Pre-Sales and Sales, as well as partners
•    Uses markets feedback for offering refinements and ongoing developments

What essential skills do I need to qualify for the role?

General skills required
-    Excellent English understanding and written skills (spelling and grammar) are mandatory
-    A degree in engineering or business
-    Project / Program Management (ideally skilled on Agile Development)
-    Used to global virtual team working
-    Overview knowledge of Hybrid Cloud market and technologies
