Position: Sterling OMS Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA / Remote

Job Type: Fulltime

 

Salary range $90000 - $100000 a year (Depend upon experience)

 

Job Description

• Hardware and software infrastructure capable of supporting the Sterling Order Management application.

• Servers, storage, and networking components configured according to IBM's hardware and software requirements.

• Database management system (DBMS) capable of supporting the Sterling database, such as IBM DB2 or Oracle.

• Licensing agreements and software entitlements for IBM Sterling Order Management.

• Installation and configuration of Sterling Order Management software components according to IBM's installation guides and best practices.

• Configuration of application servers, databases, and other middleware components to support Sterling OMS functionality. Migration of master data, transactional data, and configuration data from legacy systems to Sterling Order Management.

• Data mapping and transformation to ensure compatibility between data formats and structures. Customization of Sterling Order Management workflows, business rules, and user interfaces to meet specific business requirements.

• Creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Sterling Order Management functionality.

• Establishment of change management processes to manage system changes, updates, and enhancements.

• Governance structures and committees responsible for overseeing Sterling Order Management implementation, including stakeholder engagement, risk management, and issue resolution.

• Provision of ongoing support, maintenance, and monitoring for Sterling Order Management post-implementation.

• Incident management, problem resolution, and performance tuning to address issues and optimize system performance.

• Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Sterling Order Management capabilities, usability, and efficiency over time.
