What will you do?
As a Junior Application Support Specialist you will:

Support applications development for Financial sector
· Monitor application (e.g. through scripts and database queries)
· Troubleshoot incidents (searching for errors, checking logs, searching/modifying files, using/modifying scripts, creating database queries)
· Supervise backups and data archiving
· Enrure technical support during changes and test new solutions and functionalities in technical terms
· Respond to customer requests

Must have:
· Communicative level in English and German (understanding documents, at least B1+)
· Basic Cobol/JCL knowledge
· Knowledge of SQL
· Resolving problems in a timely manner
· Being articulate and communicating effectively
· Planning and prioritizing tasks
Nice to have:
· Knowledge of the mainframe environment - at least basic operating knowledge and confidence in dealing with the topic
· Basic ITIL knowledge/process understanding etc. (service delivery / ticketing/ change etc.)
· Commercial experience in financial sector
· Experience in direct collaboration with end customer along with technical solutions preparations will be a desired asset
· Willingness to learn new technologies would be desired asset
