Job Description
OH Assist is the largest UK provider of commercial occupational health services. OH Assist works with a range of client organisations, supporting large FTSE 100 companies, public sector organisations as well as smaller employers in all aspects of employee occupational health.
In this varied occupational health service role, you will deliver occupational health clinics within client locations as well as working from regional hubs and from home. The role encompasses the delivery of agreed occupational health services to a range of client organisations.
Overview
This role operates in the context of the Service Lifecycle Management approach that is used in the HELP Employee Assistance™ business and is a member of the HELP Employee Assistance™ Leadership Team (HLT). The leadership role is to ensure high quality service quality and operational delivery to designated EAP clients.
Reporting to theGeneral Manager, HELP Employee Assistance™, the base location is flexible subject to business (client and internal resource) requirements.
Job Description
Provide leadership and line management to a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners, including all performance management, conduct, capability and grievance issues, in line with Atos policy & procedures
Manage utilisation, productivity and quality targets of the clinical team in line with agreed Business standards and targets
Work with the relevant clinicians to ensure a co-ordinated and consistent approach to the maintenance, monitoring and enhancement of clinical standards within the team
Be a problem solver and take personal ownership & responsibility for all resource and delivery issues within the team, ensuring at all times that resources are used effectively and appropriately in line with business standards
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery risks to EAP clients are managed effectively, providing proactive support to resolve issues as required
Act as an advocate for change within the team, demonstrating at all times Atos leadership values
Engage directly with clients within parameters agreed with the General Manager, HELP Employee Assistance™
Escalate any issues that can't be resolved in a timely fashion to ensure client satisfaction is maintained and enhanced at all times
Deliver EAP clinical work for approximately 20% of work time and provide ad hoc clinical delivery support as required to meet client needs.
Carry out ad hoc tasks as requested by the General Manager, HELP Employee Assistance™

The post holder must have experience as an EAP Practitioner with a relevant professional qualification (Minimum Certificate in Counselling with at least 3 years EAP Practitioner experience)with industry experience in management
Proven ability to successfully deliver a line management role to clinicians and manage role boundaries appropriately
Proven ability to achieve results whilst ensuring a positive and healthy working environment
Experience of implementing and managing change in a positive manner
IT literate
Highly developed interpersonal skills and strong understanding of, and ability to deal with people management issues
Able to establish and maintain a strong customer focus to ensure effective customer relations
Able to communicate effectively using various methods of communication
Ability to maintain and develop working relationships
Experience of working effectively in a customer facing environment
