Are you a Business Analyst who wants to be the 'trusted advisor’ for our customers, in supporting to identify the business requirements and translate them into digital solutions?
As Business Analyst within the AMS (Application Modernization Services) practice you play an important role in the digital transformation and projects for our clients. Together with our clients and colleagues you share your expertise on how we help organizations collaborate more efficiently and more securely.

Job Description:
· Review, analyze and evaluate business process, -systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to support overall business strategies.
· Understand customer requirements and map them into user stories and high-level software design.
· Advise businesses on future shaped processes (level of automation on IT).
Responsibilities:
· Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
· Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
· Maintain backlogs for the requirements and take clarifications from the customer on the requirements.
· Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.
· Review a variety of areas including e.g. operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, e-commerce, and facilities.
· Being the trusted advisor that develops and maintains strong (customer) relationships and expand them to further make the expertise visible.
Requirements:
· Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Management, or similar level of education
· 2 - 5 years of adjacent experience in the field or in a related area.
· Agile/Scrum approach and experience (user stories, story points, backlog, refinements)
· T-shaped
· Knowledge of BPM/UML/Workflow (flowcharts)
· Familiar with Business/Enterprise Architecture concepts, like TOGAF
· Eager to adapt to and/or learn new technologies
· Get energized by working in multidisciplinary teams
· IREB/BABOK(IIBA)/BISL/ITIL/ISQI(CABA)/BCS certification and/or experience
· Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience strongly preferred.
· Good understanding of using Excel and good presentation, advisory and writing skills.
· Ability to impact operations and effect change by identifying and managing stakeholders.
· Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
· Industry/sector experience (Public, Financial Services, Manufacturing, etc.)
· Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
· Has ability and dares to challenge business process owners, understands the why behind the what and how
