Context of the job As leader in end-to-end services for critical electronic transactions, Worldline is specialized in electronic payment services (issuing, acquiring, acceptance, terminals, card and non-card payment solutions & processing), Merchant Services, as well as services for financial markets. Delivery Unit Merchant Services & Terminals is concerned with managing electronic payment transactions through payment terminals (POS terminals), eCommerce (web shops), ATM’s and mCommerce (MBanxafe) for brands like Bancontact/MisterCash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diners, CUP, JCB, Sodexo … and requesting real-time payment authorizations to the card issuers worldwide. Today we process 2 billion transactions per year, with peaks of 10,000 transactions per minute. The ERP Billing Service is within Delivery Unit “MS” responsible for all projects related to automating billing flows towards Merchants & Financial Institutions as well as the Merchant/Bank settlement for payment schemes like BCMC EMV and international accounts. The ERP system supports the value chains of Manufacturing, Customer Relationship Management and Finance of the company. As Functional Analyst you are responsible for the delivery of solid; reliable and high-performance ERP / Billing solutions that support the users in their daily business processes. You participate in multiple studies and projects in parallel and contribute to the product strategy and roadmap. You work together in close collaboration with the internal customers in order to understand their requirements and translate them into functional solutions. For the development activities you work together on a daily bases with other IT teams and our offshore development center in India. Key responsibilities · Create functional and system design for billing & settlement solutions to serve Worldline & Worldline customers business needs · Take ownership for successful delivery of new changes installed on our production environment · Integrate application components · Support test team and quickly fix problems raised by test team · Monitor offshore development team activities : o transfer knowledge about applications, technologies, new developments, best practices, processes o validate work delivered (technical documents, code, scripts, test results) · Analyze problems raised by customers or production support, find and implement a solution (mostly in an emergency / crisis context with high pressure, stress and quick results expectation) · Propose & analyze application improvements (performance, robustness …) · Coordinate / administrate small changes development see also : https://sp2013.myatos.net/organization/sl/httssb/awl/RBU1/HR_O/Recruitment%20Worldine/Job%20descriptions/WL%20MS%20BE%20PB%20239502%20ERP%20Billing%20Analyst%20jobdescription%20May%202017.docx · Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, Economy or related fields · Knowledge in the payment or banking industry would be an additional asset · Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand way · Fluency in English, Dutch and/or French · Able & willing to work in an international & multi-cultural environment · Structured and organized, with good interpersonal skills · Autonomous and proactive · Analytical and problem solving skills · Result-oriented individual who appreciate working in a fast paced environment · Ability to be flexible and to work both independently and in a team environment · Effectively manage simultaneously occurring tasks and are adaptable and flexible to the dynamic needs of large projects. · Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities ·
