Job description

Job Purpose:

To ensure that each tenancy managed by Atkinson McLeod runs smoothly from start to finish and provide a single point of contact for landlords and tenants.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily liaison with tenants, landlords and contractors, dealing with questions, complaints and updates
  • Appointment and monitoring of contractors
  • Invoice authorisation
  • Updating of specified areas of the property management database
  • Ensuring tenant/contractor/landlord compliance with statutory and contractual obligations
  • Negotiating tenancy renewals
  • Providing property management advice within area of expertise to existing and potential clients
  • Writing letters and reports
  • Organising gas safety certificates and EPCs
  • Organising quotes for repair/maintenance on behalf of landlords and overseeing works
  • Carrying out general administration
  • Assessing and evaluating reported maintenance issues
  • Ensuring that services are delivered to agreed timescales and KPIs

Skills Required:

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Good telephone manner
  • High level of customer service towards both landlords and tenants
  • Good organisational skills
  • High level of attention to detail

Atkinson McLeod is a young, independent property company, founded in 2002 and covering Sales, Lettings and Property Management. We currently have 5 offices covering central, East and South London, with ambitious plans for expansion in the future.
