Job description

Job Purpose

To inspect and report on the contents and condition of properties within the property portfolio

Responsibilities

  • Performing quarterly inspections on management portfolio
  • Identify any defects and feeding back condition or possible issues to Property Management
  • Completing check out reports on tenancy terminations
  • Conducting Inventories prior to the commencement of tenancies on management portfolio
  • Updating of specified areas of the property management database
  • Negotiating end of tenancy deposit releases
  • Writing letters and reports
  • Selling possible refurbishment works identified in inspection/checkouts
  • Organising quotes for repair/maintenance on behalf of landlords identified during inspection
  • Carrying out general administration
  • Ensuring that services are delivered to agreed timescales and KPIs

Skills required

  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Good strong telephone manner
  • High level of customer service towards both landlords and tenants
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good time management
  • Ability to negotiate
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Full UK driving license

About the Company

Atkinson McLeod is a young, independent property company, founded in 2002 and covering Sales, Lettings and Property Management. We currently have 5 offices covering central, East and South London, with ambitious plans for expansion in the future.
