Astute Education specialise in recruiting contracted and permanent staff to Nurseries, Primary, Middle, Secondary and Further Education establishments around the world. One of our clients in Zurich, Switzerland, is looking to appoint a qualified Secondary Maths Teacher to start in January 2016 due to an unexpected vacancy.

This is a rare opportunity at the school as the staff retention is very high in this oversubscribed school.
The private coeducational international school educates expatriate children from around the world plus the local Swiss community, following the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes of the International Baccalaureate from Pre-school up to Year 13.
You will be expected to teach the Maths IB HL programme.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the teaching programme for all pupils in the class with regard to the school’s mission statement, policies and scheme of work
• Provide clear structures for lessons and for sequences of lessons, which maintain space, motivation and challenge

Requirements

• Recent IB HL teaching experience
• Degree and recognised teaching qualification
• Excellent knowledge of the Maths Curriculum
