Marketing Intern - Aston Martin Works

Job description

The role is a 12 month intern placement, providing a Marketing opportunity and insight for an undergraduate or recent post graduate, working towards a Marketing Qualification. The role is designed to support the Aston Martin Works marketing function, coordinating marketing activity and providing administration and customer facing support.

The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.

General Information:

Provide general administration support including telephone support, document preparation, digital media support, typing, proof reading preparing purchase orders and financial documentation.
Answer and respond to marketing customer queries promptly and accurately, providing a polished and professional front of house service.
Provide general support on social media and digital marketing solutions.
Create and maintain databases/CRM data including customer contact and updates, ensuring a high focus on accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
Support customer events activity including working closely with suppliers, contacting customers, preparing documentation and providing general administration and event support.

Desired profile

Essential:
Working towards a degree or equivalent in Marketing or Business.

Experience:
Some basic work experience is desirable
Some experience of Marketing and Commercial Business, either theoretical (as part of their study) or work experience is desirable

Skills & Abilities:
Highly competent in Word and Excel
Knowledge of PowerPoint advantageous
Currently working towards a Marketing or Business qualification or recently qualified
Attention to detail is essential, with a critical eye for pristine presentation, spelling and grammar.
