Job Title:             Decision Engine Analyst
Location:             Nottingham
Salary:                 up to £50,000 & benefits

Our client, a leading debt management company is looking for an experienced Decision Engine Analyst to join their liquidation services team in Nottingham.

The Decision Engine Analyst will contribute towards the delivery of demonstrably and sustainably superior liquidation performance.

- Work closely with the strategy analytics teams, implementing existing and new debt collection strategies into IBM WODM.
- Develop a team of analysts into WODM rule developer SMEs.
- Become an internal data expert and assist in the data mapping requirements between the internal systems as well as external data sources.
- Design, build and test complex debt collection strategies in the business rules management system
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and develop requirements for strategy rules
- Create on-going monitoring frameworks to verify the strategy implementations
- Document all work undertaken in accordance with agreed standards
- Manage the set-up, management and validation of data of new clients
- Evaluate all data sources with the analysis of business implications
- Work closely with the IT teams to ensure BOM / XOM set-up is fit for purpose.

What do you need to apply?

- Experience of designing and developing rules using business rules management systems (ideally IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules) – Experience with other decision engines would be beneficial.
- Experience developing conditional rule-flows, decision tables and decision trees
- Experience with database environments and data set manipulation particularly in SQL / SAS and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced at effectively engaging stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task and deal with challenging timelines
- Distinctive problem solving and analytic skills with a high degree of analytical rigour.
- Experience with BOM and XOM development - Desirable
