Production Technician

Job description

A Production Technician is required for a chemical manufacturing company based in the East End of London, with a strong international reputation and extensive R&D they represent an excellent employer. You would be starting within their production team working on the manufacture of complex chemical products. Paying £20,000 plus shift allowance you will be working a 12 hour shift pattern; additional benefits are also offered along with rapid advancement.

Working in a team of plant operators you will be responsible for the production of chemical products, you will be provided detailed training on all areas of the production plant. You will adhere to all quality and H&S standards across the site and be physically fit to work in a busy production environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial manufacturing setting ideally related to chemical manufacturing (i.e. polymer, fine chemical, Pharma or similar) however we would actively seek applications from Graduate calibre applicants with scientific or manufacturing degrees looking to gain experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
