We are currently recruiting to fill the position of a Warehouse Operative within our small but very busy team here at Armafix. As a company we are currently experiencing fantastic growth, therefore opening this position to the right candidate.

What the job role involves, but is not limited to:

• Picking and packing warehouse orders
• Goods in/Despatch
• Loading/Unloading of vehicles
• Providing cover on the Trade Counter
• Occasional deliveries using company delivery vans

What we are looking for:

This is not your average warehouse job. We require a candidate who isn't afraid of hard work, someone who is looking to come and make an impression within a company where they can be rewarded for their commitment to Armafix. You don't require experience working with the goods that we supply, just the ability to absorb information through working with them. The role involves heavy lifting so would suit someone who is fairly fit, someone with a keen eye for detail due to the amount of similar product lines, and someone who possesses bags of common sense. The candidate needs to be able to demonstrate an ability to work with inches and millimetres.

Ideally the candidate will be a fast learner and a strong communicator. Someone who can follow instructions yet be able to think for themselves. Potentially; going on to provide assistance to the Warehouse Manager

Requirements:

• Counterbalance license
• Driving license
• English + Maths GCSE Qualification

This role is permanent, 47.5 hours per week, 20 days holiday per annum. We are offering a competitive basic salary, with paid overtime when required.
