About the Role
ARM India’s CPU division team specializes in verifying ARM products including CPUs. The CPU Division develops high performance CPU cores that lie at the heart of billions of digital devices being used around the world today. These IPs contain complex digital logic and needs exceptional skills not only to design but verification as well. Customers demand high quality and reliable IP, as the cost of design iterations is extremely high and shorter design cycles means that re-spins can be disastrous for the success of a product and this reinforces the importance of quality of verification.

What will I be accountable for?
As a CPU verification engineer at ARM you have the opportunity to develop specialist skills and knowledge by both using apply both hardware and software skills to the validation task. You will be part of the CPU design team to ensure that all areas of the architecture are understood and thoroughly validated. Successful candidate requires an insight both of the 'big picture' at the architectural level and of the detail at the implementation level. Your role as a Verification Engineer will include responsibilities like project execution and delivery, independently as well in a team. Job Requirements

What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

·  University degree in ECE or computer science
·  2+ years of engineering experience in verification domain in CPU or CPU based SoC
·  Knowledge of CPU architecture is a “must-have”
·  Understands digital design concepts
·  Experience at C/ASM testing, functional and/or power verification
·  Have successfully worked with industry standard DV tools
·  Basic knowledge of HVL, coverage, scripting
·  Have successfully executed tasks as per DV plan requirements
·  Can understand, plan and define DV tasks (Desirable)
·  Experience with test plan and test-bench development using System Verilog (Desirable)
·  Experience with current verification methodologies like UVM, OVM, VMM and Specman (Desirable)
