This position provides an exciting opportunity to be involved in the architecture, design and definition of the next generation of display processors. You will work in small, growing and dynamic team, taking ownership of complex display hardware blocks. Working closely with the architecture and hardware verification team, you will be tasked with evolving these designs to optimally cater for the next generation feature and performance requirements.

This is a demanding, hands-on technical role, employing the latest hardware design and verification techniques to develop best-in-class hardware IP for low power display processing.

The successful candidate will be an experienced hardware design engineer with proven ability to deliver high quality, low power, high performance micro-architecture and RTL implementations in challenging timescales.

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

• Derive specifications from architecture requirements.
• Specify, design and optimise complex blocks for use across multiple generations of Display processors
• Deliver IP blocks on time and meeting PPA targets

• Substantial experience of RTL design
• Repeated project experience of technically owning and executing the design and implementation of complex units or sub-systems, from specification to design sign-off.
• Ability to quantify and make trade-offs between power, performance and area appropriately to meet the requirements of the product.
• RTL optimization skills.
• Ability to schedule own work and tasks.
• Willingness to tackle varied and complex technical challenges.
• Knowledge of verification techniques is an advantage.
Experience in Display is not a must, but would be an advantage.

Education & Qualifications

Good university degree in electronics engineering, microelectronics or computer science. Other science graduates will be considered with relevant experience.
