We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to work within the IM Data Management team. In this role you will be working with a range of stakeholders, from senior management down, across all ARM’s Groups and Functions to ensure that:

The data requirements to support business objectives and needs are understood and met. You will assist in the preparation of business proposals and the elicitation and documentation of detailed business requirements from a data management perspective.

· 
The data currently being used within ARM’s business functions and processes is well defined, well understood and of appropriate quality to support the business. You will assist in the collation of the definitions of the current data and the development of business and technical validation rules and the development of data quality scorecards.

· 
Data-related issues are identified, analyzed to identify their root causes, and resolved in a timely manner. You will assist in the triage and prioritization of data-related issues, the investigation of root causes and the development and implementation of remediation plans to resolve the issues.

Key Responsibilities

·  Responsible for the detailed investigation, scoping, planning and execution of data analysis activities and deliverables for specified projects.
·  Production of requirements and other documentation, as needed for each individual project and for BAU activities, in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
·  Investigation and resolution of data-related issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of actions to resolve issues.
·  Managing the interaction with internal business requirements, prioritising and de-conflicting where necessary.
·  Supporting the Data Science team in the provision of insights and intelligence using the business data.
·  Facilitating the promotion and development of the Data Management function within ARM and contributing to a culture of active continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Key Skills and Experience

·  Experience working in a data analyst role, in both a project and BAU environment.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·  Approachable, confident and friendly manner, able to challenge appropriately.
·  Good presentation skills.
·  Ability to tailor approach and style when interacting with stakeholders.
·  Ability to rapidly solve complex problems.
·  Flexibility to prioritise own work.

·  Self-motivated to learn and improve their own data management skill set.

Desirable Skills and Experience

·  Understanding of typical data analysis tasks including data requirements management, process mapping, data definitions and development of Business and Technical Validation Rules.
·  Experience of measuring data quality and the development of data quality scorecards – particularly using SAP-IS
·  Visio diagramming experience.
·  Exposure to Jira.
·  Experience working on business change projects.
·  Experience working on web / digital projects.
·  Experience working on ERP or CRM projects.
