About the role
As an intern at ARM within the Architectural Prototyping team you will do analysis on new proposed architecture. Your role includes writing RTL (Verilog), verification, and implementation (synthesis). This is an opportunity to intern with a team of world class engineers analysing the how new proposed architecture behaves and impacts current and future processor designs. You will get exposed to future technologies and get in-depth experience with cutting edge processor designs.
What will I be accountable for?
You will work with ARM engineers to understand and help develop our next generation products. Depending on your skills and experience, tasks may include:
• Writing and modifying RTL (Verilog)
• Implementing test benches
• Synthesis, placement, and wiring analysis
Job Requirements
What skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?
• Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of computer architectural (micro-architecture)
• Programming experience in a high level language such as Python or Perl
• Basic proficiency in Linux OS
