· The Role:

You will effectively establish and manage supplier relationships whilst driving and maintaining excellent performance in line with the company’s overall strategy. We are looking for strong individuals who want to learn and develop in role and play key role in enhancing performance within the Supplier Direct Fulfilment team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

To manage the day-to-day relationship with suppliers ensuring adherence to SLAs.
To analyse and interpret data to assess supplier performance, challenging suppliers where KPIs are not met and put in place any corrective measures necessary.
To plan and deliver seasonal/promotional activity.
To maximise stock availability by ensuring supplier is monitoring and updating their inventories.
To work closely with the trading teams, provide insights into supplier performance to support buying decision and/or identify potential opportunities in line with trading/business strategy.
To create reports, share performance, chair meetings and effectively communicate and influence external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
End to end ownership of new supplier set up process, including analysing suitability for service and size of proposal based on supplier capabilities.
To act as a first point of resolution for any supplier performance issues escalating as appropriate.

Your skills & experience will include:

Possess strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable negotiation ability.
Analytically minded individual who enjoys getting into detail.
Possess strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
All round Microsoft Office skills including Excel / Word & PowerPoint
Prior exposure working in a supply chain / logistics coordinator or planner role would be advantageous.
