Job description
At Nectar 360, not only are we busy running and developing the best loyalty programme and getting to know our customer better than anyone else, we are working with Sainsbury’s suppliers and Nectar partners to create multichannel campaigns that utilise new technologies to monetise digital platforms. We work with brands to create targeting and inspirational content for our customers’ objectives which generate interest, awareness and/or sales for their products and brand.
We are looking for an excellent candidate to create and evaluate outstanding data led campaigns across the Nectar360 Media Services toolkit to contribute to the overall business targets.
Overview
• Develop a deep knowledge of the Nectar360 business, including our insights and communications capabilities and Sainsburys corporate, commercial and marketing strategies in order to champion the customer and recommend appropriate solutions
• Develop a deep knowledge of the clients’ businesses in order to confidently share recommendations that align to key strategic brand and account objectives
What you need to do
• Build relationships within clients to enable identification of revenue opportunities for one-off plans, annual plans, proactive recommendations based on changing customer behaviour (from Sainsbury’s Insight Platform) or wider market dynamics
• Understand client objectives (marketing, category and sales) and apply critical thinking and problem solving to recommend optimal bespoke Nectar 360 solutions aligned to client segmentations
• Present your bespoke campaign and evaluation strategies (inc. test and learn) to clients and key Sainsbury’s contacts, build rapport and ensuring that all data and technical recommendations are understood
• Manage your own time and manage key stakeholders (internal and external) to deliver projects to time and exceed expectations
• Remain up to date on industry trends and competitive threats, considering the impact these may have on both clients and the Nectar360 business to identify opportunities
What you need to know and show
• Experience in a Retail or FMCG environment with strong analytical interpretation skills, commercial acumen and relentless customer focus
• Strong project management skills with experience working on multiple projects with conflicting priorities
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to move from explaining to engaging and influencing internal stakeholders and external clients to gain trust and revenue
• Good technical data skills within Excel, Google Analytics and YouGov alongside a mastery of PowerPoint to create compelling data led stories; influencing a broad range of stakeholders with varying data/marketing expertise and seniority
• Able to build strong and effective relationships with clients through a collaborative approach to deliver quality data driven solutions
• Self-motivated and able to proactively manage own workload independently, keeping the Planning Leads up to date and supporting the wider team with initiatives that contribute to both team and business success
