As the IT Change Manager, you will be responsible for defining and managing the policies, processes and procedures for change and release management.

What you’ll be doing

Developing and maintaining policies, processes and procedures for change & release management which are scalable to meet the business needs and are appropriate for use in an IT environment that uses multiple delivery methodologies (agile and waterfall)
Leading and managing the CAB Process, to ensure that changes are correctly reviewed and assessed to confirm that appropriate technical steps, rollback plans, testing & resource plans are in place
Identifying, managing and communicating risks or issues associated with changes, ensuring that key stakeholders are fully engaged and that a proper risk assessment has taken place
Defining and tracking metrics to assess quality of change delivery across IT, performing audits on implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives with no undesirable side effects to the functionality, capacity, performance, security or maintainability
Working closely with Service partner organisations (e.g. Fujitsu, Accenture) to ensure that they understand the policies for change and release management and adhere to processes to support them
Engaging with the business community to ensure they are updated on service offered and business usage of these services

You

Experience in a similar role in an IT Change Management environment
Detailed understanding of change and release management processes and toolsets
Broad appreciation of how different types of technology are used in an enterprise organisation
Familiarity with different delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
Quickly able to assimilate and respond to risks and issues
