· This role will be creating content that supports the category strategies, the quarterly promotion plan and the content strategy. Ensuring the content is engaging, informative, inspiring and helpful to support customers on their browse/search/buy journey. Manage projects from inception to completion and use analytics and assess the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions.

As a Digital Content Editor you will:

Work with the Digital Content Manager to develop & deliver content that supports the business commercial priorities.
Use a variety of content types to create an engaging and inspiring experience across your categories and guides customers to research and buy the right products from any of our digital channels.
Act as content lead for category, events and promotional projects ensuring all content requirements are developed and delivered on time.
Continually analyse the effectiveness of your content using web analytics, and make recommendations to improve content based on data.
Work closely with the merchandising team and promotions team to execute promotions in line with the marketing calendar, ensuring the customer experience is optimal and messaging is on brand.

As a Digital Content Editor you will need:

Excellent copy writing skills.
A solid understanding how to use natural search in copy and metadata.
A passion for digital.
High attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organisation and planning skills.
Good analytical skills.
Good interpersonal skills which is key when managing projects that require input from other teams who may have other priorities.
Good understanding of retail websites and the importance of the customer.
