We want you to have:

A background in Customer Service
Contact/call centre based customer service experience is preferable but not essential
A friendly and confident phone manner
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Office 365
Reliable and conscientious team player
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills

What will you do?

Deliver excellent customer service always.
Answer calls in a clear and professional manner
Give exceptional customer service by truly listening to the customer and resolving their queries
Engage with customers and colleagues, creating a people focused work culture
Respond to messages from customers have raised through via eBay.
Investigating customer enquiries
Ad hoc tasks as required by Management
Navigate through various computer systems, liaise with other departments with Argos.

Working hours

This role is a temp fixed term contract with the possibility of a permanent to perm contract. We are offering a working minimum of 20.00 hour per week.

Overtime is often available to help support the team at busy times.

We are currently recruiting for a range of flexible shift patterns working across between our opening hours:

Monday-Friday 09:00 – 19:00

Saturday and Sunday 09:00 – 18:00

You will be required to work full time 09:00-18:00 one out of three weekends, and some Bank Holidays in order to ensure we are there to help our customers. Due to the nature of the role, there will be some working over the Christmas and New Year period.
