What you'll do
As an Associate Analyst within the Sainsbury's Digital Operations Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in analysing and interpreting data to drive efficiencies within our groceries online operations and enhance our online customer proposition. By leveraging your analytical skills and developing a deep understanding of our online operations processes and systems, you will generate actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality, data-driven storytelling will be essential in contributing to the success of our data-driven initiatives and creating impactful change within the business.

As an Associate Analyst in the Digital Operations team at Sainsbury's, you are a highly numerate professional with a strong analytical background and a passion for deriving actionable insights from complex data sets. Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience or education in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical field.
- Proven ability to write and use SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Evidence of delivering actionable insights that have led to measurable business change through analytics.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly, with examples of translating analytical findings into simple, compelling narratives.
- Track record of logical problem-solving and attention to detail, supported by examples from academic, professional, or project work.
