· Responsible for ensuring display requirements are achievable within the POS / Display budget
Indirectly responsible for store sales performance
DIMENSIONS (BREADTH OF ROLE AND IMPACT WITHIN THE ORGANISATION)
The Space Planner will be required to manage tactical level thinking and planning to deliver a strong operational execution which places the customer at the forefront of decisions
Ability to influence required across the Argos business, particularly within Commercial / Supply – able to network and build support in order to seek resolutions quickly and efficiently
Responsible for delivering BAU displays across all formats
DIMENSIONS (STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT)
Individual will be required to comfortably interact at a D1 level and represent both the Product Marketing department and Marketing function as a whole

Person Specification
Competent use of Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Good analytical skills
Good planning, organising and time/ project management skills
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Experience and understanding of space planning principles
Knowledge of key operations / marketing activities (retail in general)
Knowledge of procedures in store
Detailed knowledge of SpaceMan, Apollo or JDA and Visio or CAD software
Digital photography manipulation using Photoshop
Use of Micro and Macro space planning systems
Make winning decisions….with insightful thinking and clear direction
