As part of our Buying team, you’ll make sure that they do. You’ll help with a huge range of promotional work – getting involved in overall strategy as well as targeted campaigns. Online marketing plays an essential part in letting our customers’ know about the amazing products we have on offer, and this will be a big focus for you.
That’s not all you’ll do though. We’re looking for someone who is as excited about buying as we are, so that we can share our experience and help you to develop a career here. You’ll need a degree level qualification as well - and some retail experience, including as a good understanding of the online environment.

As an Assistant Buyer your main responsibilities will be:
Shaping and implementing the strategic direction and financial plans for your range
Own brand product development
Delivering promotions and ranges to your target customers
Negotiating with your suppliers whilst creating sustainable partnerships
Planning and executing the sourcing of both domestic and non UK products
Monitoring and driving sales through targeted promotional activity
As an Assistant Buyer your skills & experience will ideally include:
Buying within retail
International sourcing experience
Sound commercial acumen
Using complex data to analyse forecasts and sales figures
Setting commercially viable margins
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Acting with pace in a structured and organised manner
Putting customers at the heart of your decisions
Innovative, adaptive, enquiring and challenging mind
