POSITION DESCRIPTION


Reporting to the Manager, Legal this position is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities include:
· Provide general assistance to the Legal Department on various legal matters
· Conduct legal research in areas of the law, such as employment/labour law, Aboriginal law, and corporate law
· Draft reports and memorandums
· Review and revise contract templates, such as agreements related to engineering services, construction work and supply of goods
· Review and revise company policies

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
·  Attending law school in a Canadian jurisdiction
·  Strong research and writing skills
·  Ability to work well independently and in multi-disciplinary teams
·  Proficiency with computers and software, including word and excel
·  Understanding of the Canadian context for resource development
·  Knowledge of First Nation and Métis topics in Saskatchewan is a an asset
