Archie & Doris runs an Accountancy firm, Co-Working space & Collaborative Community for Creative Entrepreneurs.

We are looking for an intern to help manage the Co-Working space, organise events & workshops, get involved with running marketing & social media. If you have an interest in Bookkeeping, Accounting or Corporate Finance then we can get you involved with that too if you like.

You’ll be working directly with the Marcus Warry, the Founder & CEO. With a background in Advertising, Accounting & Corporate Finance, he’ll do his best to ensure you gain the skills and experiences you need to move your career forward (either within Archie & Doris, or elsewhere if we let you leave!).

Our Co-Working space in Belgravia, is right next to Victoria Station, and a stones throw from Sloane Square and several nice places to shop, eat, & drink. It’s a fun & vibrant place to be with over 25 Creative Entrepreneurs using the space including Music Promoters, Festival organisers, App developers, Graphic Designers, Comedy Writers, Illustrators, Interior Designers & Tech Start-ups.

We want you to help manage the space, arrange events & workshops and take care of all the Marketing & Social Media.

We’re looking for fun, vibrant & sociable people, who are also well organised & can get things done. It’s really important that you get the Archie & Doris brand, and that you share our enthusiasm for helping Creative people & Entrepreneurs to flourish. That’s what Archie & Doris is all about. Archie & Doris’ core business is offering Cloud Bookkeeping & Accounting services for Creative Businesses, and we have clients across Tech, Media & Retail. We use the latest cloud technologies to ensure we’re able to offer the best value service. We are building a virtual office business model, with a network of employees (especially Mums) across the UK (our Dorises), who fit work around their lives & often their kids.

As well as taking care of the dull & boring Accounts work, we also strive to help our clients grow their business in any way we can, and we’ve recently starting to focus more on helping them raise funds too, whether that be loans, Crowdfunding, Angel investment or Venture Capital.

Whilst this advert is aimed at securing an intern, we are a fast growing business, and there’s a decent chance that more permanent opportunities could open up. You’re aim is to make yourself indispensable, and in many ways you have a chance to create the role that you want with us… so that in 50 years time, you can look back on your illustrious career with Archie & Doris and retire with a cheeky smile on your face (we’ll buy you a nice gold clock or something too).

Desired profile

Educated to degree level, related qualification preferred.

* Knowledge of and interest in current issues within digital marketing, media, social media and technology.

* Marketing savvy and brand aware.

* Basic knowledge of Photoshop - advanced knowledge preferred.

* Enthusiastic personality with confident networking skills.

* Strong communication skills and telephone manner.
