Job description
- Coordinate and provide support in all Human Resources activities and controls within Mining Operations units, to ensure compliance, consistency and the maximization of productivity and thus support the principle of ‘the right people at the right place, at the right time and at the right cost.’
- Contribute to the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the Human Resources policies, procedures, processes to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work environment
- Participate in the development and maintenance of Job Profiles within units.
- Act as the Corporate HR point of contact for Human Resources practitioners within the units
- Coordination of Mining HR activities within the Mining segment and units
- Provide support to achieve Costs (TCOE) and Full Time Employee (FTE) and contractors optimization targets: Reporting, follow up and analysis on HR and Financial KPIs
- Coordinate HR Reporting of all units
- Prepare HR Monthly Reports for MET and quarterly BAR reports of Mining segment and units HR activities (TCOE, FTE, Overtime optimization targets…)
- Provide support to units in the Budget committee and consolidate the Budget presentation for the Segment
- Provide support to units in the Strategy review committee and consolidate the Yearly Strategy review presentation for the Segment
- Support on Work Force Planning for Mining
- Compensations & Benefits: Participate in salary surveys and job mapping, and continually review job grading and salary ranges for mining positions, interpret surveys and propose actions
- Participate in the development and maintenance of organization structures.
- Participate in matters related to recruitment (including vacancy authorizations), promotions and annual salary increase and bonus processes.
- Provide support to L&D in collection of data, the preparation of reports and Career Committees in the units.
- Provide support with talent management and succession planning.
- Support Employee Relations processes:
- Follow up on CLA mandates and negotiations
- Provide guidance in the establishment of Social Dialogue
- Conduct ER Diagnostics and carry out analysis, including support in the development of action plans
- Monitor Cost and flexibility optimization
- Consolidate Climate Survey actions
- Any other activities and responsibilities within remit.
Profile
HR or Finance or Accounting degree and first HR professional experiences
