My client a Global vendor who are rolling out their wireless Cloud based solution are searching for Network Support Engineer's Cisco or Juniper at all levels of experience, from graduate's to Senior Network Support Engineer's. (Italian or English or German speakers needed)

Overview

As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing quality technical support for our growing client and partner base. You will diagnose problems and troubleshoot the entire Cloud based solution product line, including our wireless access points, security appliances, and switches.

The Cisco Network Support engineers will need to be foremost problem-solvers passionate about networking, and they seek talented, enthusiastic and tech-savvy individuals to build upon our rapidly expanding Cloud Networking Group. Our customer-facing role will expose you to a diverse group of teams within - including Engineering, Product Management, and Sales - providing endless opportunities for career growth in a fun, challenging,and fast-paced environment.

Characteristics of success in this role include previous experience in supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, or DHCP servers; experience installing and troubleshooting WiFi networks; and having the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve issues reported by clients customers and partners
  • Identify issues suitable for entry in the clients Knowledge Base
  • Write, review, and release KB articles
  • Work with engineering to diagnose and resolve critical escalated issues
  • Identify, reproduce, and document bugs

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Cisco or Juniper networking fundamentals, e.g. be able to explain the functions of and differences among the link, network, transport, and application layers
  • Outstanding account management, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
  • Resourcefulness and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • B.S. in computer science or a related technical discipline preferred Bachelor degree from an accredited university required
  • Desirable:
  • CCNA, CCNP, CMNA
  • Network Support Engineer's WIFI, Wireless, VPN, VLAN's, Cisco or Juniper
